Medical Secretary Supervisor

The Medical Secretary Supervisor oversees and coordinates the Medical Secretary department in an effort to efficiently serve providers, patients and other departments. Along with other specific duties, the Medical Secretary Supervisor coordinates staffing and personnel issues within the department, as well as works with other leaders to review and refine scheduling and interdepartmental processes.

Requirements & Preferences:
>>Exemplary interpersonal skills are necessary to direct and assign work, explain procedures, communicate effectively with providers and evaluate employee performance.
>>Position presents a variety of complex, changing work, much of which cannot be anticipated. Requires ability to make decisions, to perform under pressure and to exhibit leadership.
>>Professionalism, efficiency, accuracy and courteous manner are required.
>>Clinical training and/or experience, medical terminology proficiency, and ICD-10/CPT coding knowledge is preferred.
>>Experience in personnel management or supervision is preferred.

Position is full-time (40 hours/week).
Monday - Friday, first shift.

Medical Secretary - Internal Medicine

The Medical Secretary works directly with providers and patients in delivering optimal patient care by efficiently answering incoming calls, triaging patient needs, responding with patient test results, scheduling office visits and ordered testing, and any other related duties.

Requirements & Preferences:
>>Professionalism, efficiency, accuracy, and courteous manner are required
>>Knowledge of medical terminology
>>Background in physician office procedures preferred
>>Excellent communication skills to allow for successful interactions with co-workers and outside contacts are essential
>>Ability to multi-task and prioritize with frequent interruptions from patients, providers, and co-workers

Position is full-time (38-40 hours/week).

Medical Assistant or LPN - Dermatology

This position is responsible for assisting providers with patient care by controlling patient flow, obtaining and documenting history and vital signs, performing assigned procedures, and providing patient education. Accompanies provider is room and documents clinical note, laboratory results, prescription refills, procedures, billing information and any other documentation as directed by the provider.

Position is full-time (38-40 hours/week).

Radiologic Technologist

This position is responsible for taking x-ray exams and performing bone density scans. Responsible for performing duties included in the Medical Assistants job description, as needed.

Requirements:
>>Current certification (ARRT) with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists

The Registration Associate essential function is to be the "first impression" of our practice, to complete the patient check-in process, ensure accurate demographic/insurance information, collect co-pays and balances and to answering incoming calls as one of our "operators."
