Medical Claims Analyst

The Medical Claims Analyst reviews insurance claims, researches, corrects and resubmits claim denials.

Preferences:
Medical terminology, ICD-10 and CPT coding knowledge is highly preferred; Knowledge of managed care and commercial insurance benefits and claims processes very helpful; Professionalism, efficiency, accuracy, and courteous manner are required; Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn new software;  Excellent communication skills to allow for successful interactions with patients and co-workers is essential; Ability to multi-task and prioritize; Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Position is full-time (38-40 hours/week).
Monday - Friday, first shift.

Pre-Certification Coordinator

The Pre-Certification Secretary is responsible to research clinical data and communicate with insurance companies to pre-certify applicable procedures and diagnostic tests to ensure that patients’ insurance will cover the ordered procedures and/or tests. The Secretary relays information regarding precertification to the providers and/or their secretaries to ensure that appropriate steps are taken to complete the patients’ care plans. 

Preferences:
Professionalism, efficiency, accuracy, and courteous manner are required; Proficient in medical terminology; Background in clinical aspects of physician practice preferred; Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills to allow for successful interactions with co-workers, insurance company representatives and outside entity employees essential; Ability to multi-task to enable tasks to be completed while holding for insurance company representatives; Basic knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding; Basic knowledge of insurance companies

Position is full-time (38-40 hours/week).

Medical Secretary

The Medical Secretary works directly with providers and patients in delivering optimal patient care by efficiently answering incoming calls, triaging patient needs, responding with patient test results, scheduling office visits and ordered testing, and any other related duties. This position will eventually train to learn multiple medical secretary positions in order to provide coverage, as needed. It is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who likes to learn!

Preferences:
Professionalism, efficiency, accuracy, and courteous manner are required; Knowledge of medical terminology; medical office experience preferred, but not required; Excellent communication skills to allow for successful interactions with patients and co-workers is essential; Ability to multi-task and prioritize with frequent interruptions; Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Position is full-time (38-40 hours/week).
