Internal Medicine Physician

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Internal Medicine Provider to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for delivering comprehensive primary care to adult patients in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate is someone who values autonomy, collegiality, and continuity of care, and is committed to clinical excellence and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Completes physical assessment and provides appropriate diagnosis.
  • Performs diagnostic tests, medical procedures, and follows up with critical results using appropriate protocol.
  • Communicates via telephone with patients to discuss patient tests, results, medication refills and other medical questions.
  • Support mid-level providers in a collaboration or supervisory role.
  • Develops positive patient relations.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited medical school and completeion of an accredited residency program is required
  • Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Ohio is required
  • Maintaining license through continuing education, DEA number, and NPI number are required
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care.

Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) – Internal Medicine

This is a full-time on-site role for a Physician Assistant Certified / Certified Nurse Practitioner at Blanchard Valley Medical Associates, located in Findlay, OH. The PA/NP will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients, including conducting physical exams, diagnosing and treating illnesses, and prescribing medications. Additional duties include performing procedures, documenting patient information, and educating patients on health maintenance and disease prevention. The PA/NP will also collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Radiologic Technologist

The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing radiographic procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. This includes preparing patients, developing and processing images, and maintaining the necessary paperwork associated with each procedure. The position requires the use of radiation protection materials, ensuring equipment functionality, and addressing any issues with the Nursing Supervisor or Director of Clinical Services. The Radiologic Technologist is also tasked with maintaining cleanliness and organization in the x-ray area, as well as logging and managing image delivery and returns. Additional responsibilities include assisting with outdated film purging, acquiring training for bone density scans, adhering to OSHA regulations, and performing general Medical Assistant duties as needed, such as rooming patients and taking vitals. Confidentiality of patient, employee, and clinic information must be maintained at all times.

Medical Secretary-Podiatry

The Medical Call Secretary works directly with the provider(s) to provide optimal patient care by efficiently answering incoming calls, triaging patient needs, responding with patient test results, scheduling ordered office visits or testing, and any other duties defined by the providers.

Certified Medical Assistant / LPN

Responsible for assisting providers with patient care by controlling patient flow, obtaining, and documenting history and vital signs, performing assigned procedures, and providing patient education.

Medical Billing Specialist

The Medical Billing Specialist reviews insurance claims; then researches, corrects and resubmits claim denials. Successful candidate will also train to learn charge and payment posting. Required/preferred qualifications include: Medical terminology, ICD-10 and CPT coding knowledge; understanding of Medicare, Medicaid and commercial insurance claim processing, billing, and collection practices; and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written and oral forms with physicians, staff, and patients.
