Endocrinology
Endocrinology is the study of glands and other structures that secrete hormones. At BVMA, our endocrinologist offers specialized diagnosis, treatment and consultative services for patients with hormonal, metabolic and nutritional disorders. These diseases include diabetes, thyroid, pituitary and adrenal disorders, obesity, endocrine tumors and cancers, and growth hormone deficiency. Laboratory testing and thyroid scanning are done at our facility.
Our endocrinology care also includes Certified Diabetes Educators and Registered Dietitians that provide individual and group classes to support self-management and training needs of adults, adolescents and the pregnant diabetic. Visit our Diabetes Management page to learn more about our comprehensive team.
